MF&T’s corporate beginnings can be traced back
to 1932, the year Joseph Fay struck out on his own as an independent agent of the Travelers Insurance Company.
Fourteen years later, Mr. Fay was joined by Findley T. MacIntyre and Gordon B. Thayer to form an insurance
partnership, and MF&T was born on July 1, 1946. The independent partnership was first incorporated in 1960
and re-incorporated in 1986. With headquarters in Norwell, Massachusetts, MF&T
also has a satellite office in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, as well as a growing network of insurance and financial
service affiliates. MF&T services clients on a local, national and global scale.
