MA AUTO DISCOUNTS
Ø Anti-theft Devices and Vehicle Recovery Systems: From 5%- 36% discount on your comprehensive coverage premium. If you think you may have a system in your vehicle that qualifies, forward in a copy of the window sticker showing the alarm on it (if you bought the car new) or pages from your owner's manual describing the system. (When sending information into our office ,make sure to indicate your name & the vehicle on your policy that you believe qualifies)
Description of Eligible Alarm Systems
Ø Low Mileage: 10% discount for mileage less than 5,000 per year and 5% discount for mileage less than 7,500 per year. Discounts apply to all coverage premiums except comprehensive, substitute transportation, towing and labor (subject to vehicle eligibility). You should apply for low mileage upon the renewal of your policy. Complete the annual mileage discount form below and mail to our office to see if your vehicle is eligible.
Ø Multi-vehicle: 5% discount off collision or limited collision for experienced drivers only. Insured (including spouse) must have more than one car insured with the same company and agency.
Ø Passive Restraint: 25% discount on bodily injury coverage for automobiles equipped with air bags and/or automatic seat belts.
Ø Public Transportation: 10% discount on certain coverages for commuting individuals using Massachusetts public transportation. Evidence of 11 months worth of passes between your policy renewal dates must be presented to your agent. The maximum dollar discount allowed is $75.
Ø Senior Citizen: 25% discount on the annual premium if the primary operator is 65 years of age or older. This discount would not apply if the vehicle is being used for business or if an inexperienced operator is listed on the policy.
Ø Safe Driver Insurance Plan: A premium discount is given on certain coverages if a person's past six years of driving history has no at-fault accidents, moving violations, and citations.
Ø Driver's Education Training: 10% discount on certain coverages for inexperienced operators who have completed a state approved driver-training course. This discount is applicable only for the first three years of a driver being licensed.
